'BLINK TWICE'

Rated R for strong violent content, sexual assault, drug use and language throughout, and some sexual references.

What it’s about: A young woman and her friend go to an island with a group of wealthy men and find themselves in a dangerous and mysterious situation.

The kid attractor factor: Not much, this is a horror/thriller

Good lessons/bad lessons: Don't get on the private plane with the rich guy.

Violence: Some extreme violence and sexual violence against women.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: References to sex and graphic sexual violence.

Drugs: Continuous drug use throughout: marijuana, cocaine and hallucinogens. Smoking and drinking.

Parents’ advisory: Too violent and mature for kids. For mature teens only.

What it’s about: A grieving cantor strikes up a friendship with his elementary school music teacher while giving her bat mitzvah lessons.

The kid attractor factor: Not much, this is a quirky adult indie.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Look for the best in others and remain open-hearted.

Violence: References to death and suicidal ideation; a bar fight.

Language: Some swearing

Sex: References to sex

Drugs: Some hallucinogenic drug use.

Parents’ advisory: Probably not much appeal for kids, but fine for teens.
