Bil Keane

Bil Keane's "Family Circus" is arguably one of the best known comics in the world, having run for over 45 years in newspapers worldwide.

Keane began drawing comic strips for newspapers in 1954, and began drawing what was originally called "The Family Circle" in 1960. He has received the Reuben Award for his comics, as well as several other recognitions, and has published over 60 books throughout the years. "Family Circus" consistently ranks at the top of readers' favorite comic strips all over the world. Keane's looks at family life are not always intended to be funny his aim is to warm the hearts of his readers, which he has been doing for decades.
