Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are engaged.
President Trump revealed his eldest son’s engagement at a White House holiday party Monday night, as Don Jr. also opened up about the next chapter of his life.
“It’s not often that I’m at a loss for words, ’cause we usually do the ranting and raving really well, but this is a little different,” the 47-year-old said. “I just want to wish you guys an incredible holiday season, Merry Christmas, a very happy New Year.”
Describing the milestone as a “big win for the end the year,” Don Jr. also gave a special shoutout to his now fiancée, adding, “And thanks to Bettina for that one word — ‘yes.’”
Anderson shared her own sentiments, calling it “the most unforgettable weekend. I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
Here’s a breakdown of what we know about Donald Trump Jr.’s wife-to-be.
Anderson is a model
Anderson began her career after earning a degree in art history, criticism and conservation from Columbia University in 2009. The Palm Beach native later transitioned into modeling, landing the cover of Quest magazine in 2020 and appearing in Palm Beach Illustrated in 2021.
She’s the daughter of prominent philanthropists
The 31-year-old was born to philanthropist Inger Anderson and entrepreneur Harry Loy Anderson Jr.
Her father rose to prominence after becoming the youngest bank president in the U.S. when he began leading Worth Avenue National Bank at just 26. Through the years, he and Inger became widely known for their charitable endeavors.
Anderson founded The Paradise Fund
Like her parents, Anderson has dedicated herself to philanthropy, founding The Paradise Fund, a nonprofit that aids local organizations in disaster relief.
As executive director, Anderson leads the nonprofit, which has since been rebranded as Project Paradise.
Anderson is a wildlife advocate
According to the Project Paradise website, Anderson is described as an “outdoor enthusiast” who’s “passionate about protecting Florida wildlife and preserving the natural treasures that make Florida such a unique and beautiful place to live.”
“Bettina loves being in the water and, as a licensed rebreather tech diver, she has a unique and special lens for witnessing the impact that over-development is having on our natural waters and marine wildlife,” the site reads.
In a March 2022 interview with Fashion Week Daily, Anderson said, “One of the greatest focuses of my life is how I can be of service to others and be a steward of the environment.”
