Dame Joan Collins reveals grandchildren's sweet nickname for her

Dame Joan Collins' grandchildren affectionately nicknamed her.
The 92-year-old actress is grandmother to Miel, Weston, Ava and Deia, and the showbiz legend treasures every moment she has with them.
Joan told the new issue of Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I'm DJ [Dame Joan] to the grandkids.
"I love to be with them, and I pay them a lot of attention."
The Dynasty icon has 14 godchildren, and she "couldn't resist" having a 15th when celebrity nutritionist Gabriela Peacock, 46, and her husband, financier David, asked Joan to be their 14-month-old son Felix's spiritual guide and mentor.
In October 2025, Joan told the magazine: "When Gabriela and David asked me to be godmother to their son, I was delighted.
"Even though I already had 14 other godchildren, this tiny little baby was so adorable, full of light and laughter, even at a few months old, that I couldn't resist."
Joan and her late ex-husband, actor-and-director Anthony Newley, are parents to writer Tara Newley, 62, and 60-year-old artist Alexander "Sacha" Newley.
The Land of the Pharaohs actress and her late ex-spouse, record executive Ron Kass, have one daughter, 53-year-old actress Katyana Kass.
And Joan has always adored being a mom.
In September 2023, she told The Guardian: "I'm a very good mother ...
"I loved being a mother, and I've been a full-time mother a lot of times, and a single mum, and that is not easy. My heart goes out to single mums, particularly when you've got a job that is not 9-to-5."
And Joan was "overjoyed" as she watched Alexander marry singer-songwriter Sheela Raman in a stunning Alpine backdrop, lakeside castle ceremony in Salzburg, Austria, in September 2025.
It comes as the couple had become engaged in 2019, but their original plans for a wedding in the south of France were cancelled the following year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Joan - who has been married to 61-year-old film producer Percy Gibson since 2002 - said online: "It was a magical three days."
Sheela replied: "It was so wonderful to celebrate with you."
