Mary Trump quietly married her 'best friend'

Mary Trump said she married her “best friend” in a small October wedding that went under the radar.
The president’s niece announced her big news in a Sunday Substack post where she boasted of her good fortune on Sunday.
“I am married not only to the love of my life but to my best friend,” she told readers. “Because I opened myself to the possibility that was held out to me almost a year ago, my other relationships have deepened in new and unexpected ways. I am happy in a way I never would have dared imagine.”
The 60-year-old daughter of President Donald Trump’s brother Fred Trump Jr., who died in 1981 after a long battle with alcoholism, is famously critical of her uncle. In 2020 she penned a tell-all called “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.”
Mary Trump wrote Sunday that she’s found the start of 2026 under the Trump’s second presidency to be simultaneously shocking and expected, while seemingly understanding that people may want to know more about her marriage.
“There is more to the story, of course—including the reason for my not having spoken of my marriage publicly before this—and times continue to be challenging,” she said.
While offering no further details, Mary Trump added that it’s “more important than ever to remember there is always light and hope and love to be had if we allow ourselves to let it in.”
Among those approving of her nuptials is author E. Jean Carroll, who accused President Trump of sexually abusing her and was awarded $83 million in a New York City civil court. Though Mary Trump didn’t offer her wife’s name, Carroll offered a hint.
“MARY! MARY! AMERICA NEEDED SOME JOY! And you and Ronda are giving it to us!!!” Carroll wrote.
Mary Trump was previously married and has a daughter named Avary Linden Trump, according to People.
